Enhance Your Course: With Streaming Video from the Films on Demand Database

Films on Demand is a new library database that allows LSCS students, faculty and staff on and off campus access to streaming video content from producers such as PBS, BBC, and Films for the Humanities and Sciences. Learn how to select film clips and add links to enhance your course content.

Panopto is a flexible and easy-to-use presentation capture platform that lets users capture, stream, archive and share screen capture recordings. Panopto automatically generates video that can be later shared via email or posted to an online class.

This open lab session will acquaint faculty with a variety of technology tools provided by LSCS. This is an opportunity for faculty to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer to work thru specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning such as tools for communicating with students, developing online materials, and how they might be implemented in your course(s).

Learning Disabilities: ADA Compliance for Faculty

A brief description of Disability Services as an essential faculty resource in ensuring that the College remains in compliance with ADA accommodations. Difficult classroom accommodation scenarios will be presented and discussed.
