Angel Faculty Advisor Open Lab

Description: Faculty Advisor Kimberly Thomas will be available at the FSC to work one on one with Faculty on how to implement and get courses ready for Angel.

ANGEL Tools: Course Design and Organization

Description: This workshop will provide targeted, topic specific training and resources to that found in the ANGEL boot camp overview course in a shorter amount of time. This course is designed for faculty already certified in ANGEL through the online teaching certificate course: Faculty Orientation to Online Teaching. Description: Learn how to use SoftChalk Lesson Builder to create and deliver powerful presentations with interactive content without the need to learn html or any programming at all. Spend your time developing course content, not learning how to use complex software.

Description: This workshop is hands on and faculty will work with Respondus to create assessments and StudyMate to create various types of flash based learning activities. Newly created assessments and activities will be published into an eCollege Vista section or template.

Description: This open lab will allow online and hybrid faculty who will be working in the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) the opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer from LSC-Online to solve course specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning and how they might be implemented in your online or hybrid course.
