Active Classroom Operation: Engaging Student Learning

Description: Active Classroom Operation workshop will teach you how to maximize and take full advantage of all of the great features of the Active Classroom equipment such as advanced operation of the projector, computer network, document camera, and VCR. This workshop will enable you to properly and efficiently use the Active Classrooms.

Description: Learn how to use SoftChalk Lesson Builder to create and deliver powerful presentations with interactive content without the need to learn html or any programming at all. Spend your time developing course content, not learning how to use complex software.

Angel : Open Lab
Target Audience: Faculty
Presenter: FSC Staff
Time: 2 pm to 5 pm
Location: LB-203 (FSC Lab)
Description: This open lab will allow online and hybrid faculty who will be working in the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) the opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer from LSC-Online to solve course specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning and how they might be implemented in your online or hybrid course.

Open Lab: Faculty Instructional Technology
Target Audience: Faculty
Presenter: FSC Staff
Location: FSC Lab (LB-203)
Time: Walk in any time between 9 am - noon
This open lab session will acquaint faculty with a variety of technology tools provided by LSCS. This is an opportunity for faculty to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer to work thru specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning such as tools for communicating with students, developing online materials, and how they might be implemented in your course(s)
