Assessments: Creating Test and Quizzes Using Respondus

This workshop will introduce participants to Respondus - a program that simplifies creating tests for publishing to your course management system. With Respondus you can write your own questions, import questions from text files, or import a test from a publisher’s test bank.

Join us to learn how to use Vision to engage the entire class in a computer lab environment by enabling the faculty member to block and control access to the internet on the student computers, demonstrate key concepts from the teacher station, distribute and collect files, and supervise student computer use in the classroom or testing centers.

Angel Tools: Gradebook and Reports

This workshop will provide targeted, topic specific training and resources to that found in the ANGEL boot camp overview course in a shorter amount of time. This course is designed for faculty already certified in ANGEL through the online teaching certificate course: Faculty Orientation to Online Teaching.

Pre-requisite: Please complete the VTAC: Faculty Orientation for Online Teaching Certificate prior to attending this session.

Angel: Open Lab

This open lab will allow online and hybrid faculty who will be working in the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) the opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer from LSC-Online to solve course specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning and how they might be implemented in your online or hybrid course.
