Angel Tools: Assessments and Assignments

This workshop will provide targeted, topic specific training and resources to that found in the ANGEL boot camp overview course in a shorter amount of time. This course is designed for faculty already certified in ANGEL through the online teaching certificate course: Faculty Orientation to Online Teaching. Please complete that course at http://myonline.lonestar.edu/ prior to attending this session.

Pre-requisite: Angel Online Teaching Certificate.

Civil Rights: Orientation

Civil Rights Orientation is a highly interactive workshop which will provide participants with information regarding the district's policies and procedures related to employment discrimination, including sexual harassment and other types of discrimination. This workshop also includes information on the Equal Pay Act, Age Discrimination, and the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Quality Matters (QM): Online Course Design Series

This first session of the series introduces the Quality Matters™ Rubric, a design tool for faculty designing an online course. Participants will develop a Begin Here module, preparing students for learning in their online classroom.

Angel: Open Lab
Presenter: Juan Primo/Grimilda Stanley

From 9 am to 1 pm
This open lab will allow online and hybrid faculty who will be working in the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) the opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer from LSC-Online to solve course specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning and how they might be implemented in your online or hybrid course.
