Angel Faculty Advisor Open Lab
Target audience: Faculty
Faculty Advisor: Kimberly Thomas
Location: LB-203 (FSC Lab)
Time: 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Faculty Advisor Kimberly Thomas will be available at the FSC to work one on one with Faculty on how to implement and get courses ready for Angel.

SharePoint: Owners Training
Target audience: Math & Natural Sciences Division

Time: 1 pm - 4 pm
The features in Microsoft SharePoint include robust collaboration technology that can be customized to meet your team’s needs, increase productivity, and help you stay connected. Administrative controls can be set for user groups and individuals. Documentation, knowledge, project planning, report tracking, calendar events, and more can be set up and shared in one location for all team members to access. In this workshop you will learn how to set up and maintain your department site.

iStar: Open Lab (Expenses and Procurement)

Description: This open lab will allow staff, faculty, administrators, and approvers the opportunity to work one-on-one with an iStar Instructional Developer or subject matter expert to get answers related to the iStar Procurement and Expense modules.

Open Lab: ANGEL Learning Management System
Target audience: Faculty

Time: Walk in any time between 9 am - Noon
Description: This open lab will allow online and hybrid faculty who will be working in the ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) the opportunity to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer from LSC-Online to solve course specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning and how they might be implemented in your online or hybrid course.

Description: This open lab session will acquaint faculty with a variety of technology tools provided by LSCS. This is an opportunity for faculty to work one-on-one with an instructional technologist or instructional designer to work thru specific technical questions. This time can also be used to discuss and explore new technologies and innovations in online learning such as tools for communicating with students, developing online materials, and how they might be implemented in your course(s).Registration: Not required, walk-ins are welcome.
